The Hopi are indigenous Native American tribes are located in the dry deserts of North East Arizona. It has been learnt that The Hopi were competent enough to survive in the harsh, barren land for more than thousand years and the cultivation of blue corn was the primary source of food for them. It has been further learnt that the Hopi cultures encompasses around harvesting and processing of corn. The matter of cultivation is so important to their culture that the Hopi society arranges all its holidays and celebrations around the harvesting of new seeds of corn.
